What is business consulting?

It’s like a therapist - but for your business. Therapists are trained in hearing where there are problems, typically with how you deal with problems and crap in your personal life. We do the same, just in regards to your business. Now … if your personal life is the source of the breakdowns you’re facing with respect to meeting your business goals, then we may have to get that stuff handled first. For example, let’s say your “partner-in-crime” (i.e. significant other) in life is actually into the crime of spending more than what is being made … then we may have to restore integrity to your financial management first. Capisce?
You talk. We listen. We ask powerful, directed, specific questions. You answer them. You see new actions to take you never saw to take before. You take those actions. We meet again and tackle the next area you want a breakthrough in performance. Rinse, and repeat.
What is Business Development?
This is like hiring an architect for a house you are trying to expand. And an architect has training in what structural foundations are required to put down first, and when to put them down. (You can’t build the expansion without putting down the foundation or structure supports first.)
Those architects determine the kinds of materials that are needed to build the expansions. And they even know the people to do the work on the expansion project. That’s like what we do, but we do it in terms of growing your business. We use a Business Model Canvas approach for modeling your business and a Sales Funnel approach for creating consistent (and scalable) revenue streams.
